Canopy Anchor Hardware and Tecniques

Hey Jeff, that's the Yale Prism. Absolutely love this rope! It's an 11.7mm double braid. I had heard back @ ArbTrek that it was going to be discontinued. I wound up with (2) 600' spools of it when I heard that. Works Great with all Mechanicals!

I suspected it might... they've been playing up its energy absorption. My KM Max has a nylon core, and the bounce doesn't bother me. I'm too much of a klutz to want something that's too static. And, I use shorter rope lengths with canopy anchors... not as much rope in the system as long ropes and a basal anchor. Always a trade off here and there, I guess.

Don't like the nylon idea on longer ascents or the occasional DDRT, but doesn't Kernmaster have a nylon core as well? More research! I do have a question, that has me miffed! Where can you purchase these slic pin shackles (Quickies)? If that's what they're referred to?

Kern is nylon, yes.
