Can ISA revoke a certification?

What I mean, is can and will ISA revoke a CA cert. for terrible pruning techniques? The reason I want to know, is that I am the only CA at the company I work for and they are no strangers to doing some crappy type stuff. Topping, etc., basically letting the customer dictate whatever as long as said customer pays. I think its all bs, they know I think its bs, but from time to time I get stuck in between a rock and a hard place with the customer and I tell them that I can't do what they are asking me to do because I don't want to lose my cert. I just want to know if I am outright lying to people when I tell them that. I won't be a hack if I can help it, but I don't want to be an outright liar either.

Tough situation! You are thinking right in my opinion. Maybe the only solution is to try and get with a better company.
Client wanted us to top his spruce today, maybe a 50 footer-basically cut it in half because top is leaning but he wants the privacy value.
Boss said no, we don't do it. And this is an existing client with other work on the property too. I think I am lucky to work for a small but fairly pro company.

"I get stuck in between a rock and a hard place with the customer and I tell them that I can't do what they are asking me to do because I don't want to lose my cert."

Read and apply the Standards and BMPs--they work for each and every situation. Yes spruces can be reduced and thinned to mitigate lean and maintain screen, but no they can't be brutally topped with acceptable results.

Yes, client objectives are central to the job bit NO they don't justify everything. Use your brain to study and think about how to use industry rules, or your soul will be crushed between the rock of a paycheck and the hard place of ethics.

That's no exaggeration either.

Is the loss of your certification the only reason your giving them for not wanting to do whatever it is? Do you suggest an alternative approach to get to the same result?

Have you sat down with the sales people and educated them on proper techniques?
