Things are getting serious now.



Less than two weeks away.....


Tomorrow or the next day we will release the competitor list (I think more than a few heads will be turned with this impressive roster).


The Doubletree Hotel has 8 rooms left on our special block of reserved rooms. Normally, this means that if you don't get that special rate of $94, you would have to pay about $160 for a room if you want to stay there.
This year, the Hotel is fully booked for that weekend, so there won't be any rooms available for our overflow guests.


If you have been procrastinating on reserving a room, get your act together and get it done!


This is going to be one big party!

Funny you mention that EZ. Kentucky is sending her #1 and #3 climbers. And although Chris didn't compete last year, I always think of him as #2. At least he smells that way....

Or maybe that's just the way all us Kentucky boys smell. Right Jimmy?

And a word to the Competitors:


The first mandatory meeting for Climbers is on Friday April 3rd, at 6PM at the Doubletree Hotel, 895 West Trade St. Charlotte, NC 28202.


I implore you to be on time to this meeting! We have a lot of information to give out, and will have 40+ climbers to register. We are good at what we do, but we can only do it well if you all cooperate with our meeting times.


If you know you can't be there on Friday by 6PM, you need to let me know ASAP. This is the only way we can be fair to the people who make the effort to be here on time. If we know a week in advance that you are not going to be in until late Friday night, we can plan on budgeting time in the morning to do your gear check. *note* I don't want to hear from too many people that they can't make the meeting on Friday at 6pm

I'm sure I'm wrong, but I'm counting 15 chapter champs in that list including the reigning womens world champ (and world record footlock), the current world # 2 for men, the current Southern Chapter champ, a recent Geezers champ, and a ton more !!!!! Good God this is gonna rock !!!!!!

ITCC had better step their game up, CAA TCC is taking over !!!!!

Chapters that don't have Championship Belt Buckles betta recognize! Southern Chapters been rockin the Buckle since I've been involved in the TCC, lo these two years (though it existed back in the day at the Southern Chapter, I just brought it back)


I wish that TCC Chairs could get a belt buckle every now and then.

What no Odis no Bramlett? For the record I am still not intending on competing, especially not now this is going to be to fun to watch. What about a list of the judges? That way everyone can say I can't weit on that fat arss to belay me or I wonder how many style points I'll get from the slow boy. Don't worry Rich You are still getting all of my style points.
