How big of a log can your log truck or subcontractor pick up? Bummer there is a guy wire, would be nice to drop the comm line.

I also have no experience there but that seems a bit low-Having exactly zero experience with trees of such size.....$10,000
After thinking on it more I have say you're right...way too low.I also have no experience there but that seems a bit low-
my first call would be to some log trucks to see what they would charge for grabbing the logs. Then work the bid on top of that. The climbing seems straight forward, at least.
That is the crane budget.Having exactly zero experience with trees of such size.....$10,000
Unreal. I don't even have a frame of reference to go off of for comparison. You guys aren't playing the same game that I am.That is the crane budget.
Our log hauler will have to be loaded with the crane for the larger pieces. His prices are actually really cheap so just a fraction of the budget. The biggest log might have to go onto a lowboy semi trailer. Currently trying to find someone who might want it for their yard. I’d love to have it but don’t want to pay for the transport and unloading which would also involve a crane. How big of a log can your log truck or subcontractor pick up? What street??I wonder what it would do to the street if you felled it....
I think it would make a very large dent and maybe break the sewer, gas, and water lines.I wonder what it would do to the street if you felled it....
In my area can’t get much more than a manufactured home from the 70’s/80’s for under half a millionI here it's pricey for everything out west?
