Man,you guys are scaring me. I’ve had my 15xp for several months now and no problems. Now I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. The only negative I’ve got so far is the chute clogs occasionally. My disc chippers never did that. Seems to be certain angles/directions, otherwise lovin’ it.
Hope the best for you. I would call bandit if I was you!The dealership can’t be all bad if you’ve been dealing with them for 20 years. Maybe you pissed them off for correcting the English!I still think that it is a well made machine. It’s really just unresolved electrical/computer issues with my machine.
The biggest issue for me is that the dealer has not responded. This week I’ll get in touch with the owner directly. Not only have I been doing business with him for over 20 years but I also have a brand new machine with an issue that should be resolved immediately
Hahahaaaa thanks!! And your English is good!!!Hope the best for you. I would call bandit if I was you!The dealership can’t be all bad if you’ve been dealing with them for 20 years. Maybe you pissed them off for correcting the English!
Absolutely terrible!41 hours now. Still have the issue with the control panel. It works then it doesn’t. There are no loose wires or connector.
I contacted the dealer twice this week. Both times I talked to the owner. He informed me that they like the machine to “break” before I bring it in. This is so they can “properly diagnose it.”
I emailed the owner and included video of my thumb pushing the buttons with nothing working. The video clearly shows that the control panel is malfunctioning.
The owner replied and said he would be showing the video to a specialist at Bandit industries.
It’s been 4 days now and I have not heard back.
For the purpose of this ongoing review, I’d like to say again that I DO like this machine. It is very well built. The problem I have is with the DEFECTIVE control panel and my dealer’s lack of good customer service
My thought is that the dealer should replace the control panel, no questions asked (it has only 41 hours and problems started in the low 20 hour range).
I know that one letter or phone call from my attorney would get this ball rolling but, it shouldn’t have to come to that.
Luckily it is not my busy season...

That’s my next step. Will report backCall bandit report the dealer and try to get help that way
I say come out guns blazing. If you keep waiting on them to own up you’re wasting precious time before you get busy. Additionally you’re wasting time on the warranty. It’s like a homeowner contacting a contractor on making good on a promise but keeps getting the run around.
The biggest problem you have is that this is not an issue where you can get it properly fixed on your own out of pocket. This is something that has to be addressed by the dealer or manufacturer and soon.
I agree, if I threw down that much for a new machine and had this happen I’d be livid. I’d find out where the dude lives and park the machine in front of this garage with a big freaken signI say come out guns blazing. I still have my 1999 200xp that I bought from him 20 years ago. Runs excellent. Looks like I’ll be using it againI agree, if I threw down that much for a new machine and had this happen I’d be livid.
