My area has been devastated as well. We do ash removals almost every day, certainly every week. It's easy to be pessimistic, but recently I find myself thinking like Kevin. Case in point:
Stone dead ash in center, flanked by two seemingly healthy ash of similar size, age, location. I assure you none were treated, as we were there to remove the OTHER 25 ash in his back yard that were not treated. I've been seeing examples like this of trees that have no business being alive, much less healthy. The question is why.
Maybe (probably) these trees will be dead in a year too, but I'd like to know why they aren't dead now.
