Nice picture of you on the start, but what about the the guy, about to jamb his saw while wearing no PPE?

I know when there are cameras around I make sure I look as professional as possible by wearing my PPE(I even put on my safety glasses if I can get to them

I'm confused with the mixed message there as well.

$50k in estimates in a week?

Welcome to NJ.... home of the rugged individual where no darn guverment gonna tell us what to wear..... Yeah, first thing the boss became painfully aware of was the glaring difference between me, fully PPE'd and the other guy with NADA! Do you think it'll lead to a change in policy? Nope, not when even the city workers don't don proper PPE. Most don't even notice it.

I wear all the PPE everyday right down to the chainsaw pants. Everyone else complains about being too hot and uncomfortable. Trying to sell them on it is like pushing water uphill.


Yeah the storm did some serious damage here. Lots of uprooted conifers, large oak, cherry and red maples. This has added about 3 wks of work to our backlog. Tree co's around here are thrilled, going from 3 hours a week in quite a few cases to a full order book. Northeastern was sold out of saws the first day of the week!

Yeah seems we haven't had a good storm here in years. We need another ICE STORM '98.
