Tell us how you feel about flat earthers, lotta intuition there I presume?

I like how danny is charitable to those who lack his gargantuan intuitive abilities.

I met a guy who's a flat earther...
I told him nit to mention to any of my friends he was a flat earther, if he wanted to hang out. They already think I'm crazy enough...

Little common sense is in order here... i never heard of a flat moon theory or a flat mars theory... how is every other planet a sphere, but not the earth.


One thing I don't understand though is how can gravity be equal at all latitudes... you would think gravity has to counter act the centrifugal forces of a spinning earth...


Any thoughts,?

Since the earth is not perfectly round, I suspect that ultra sensitive instruments could detect differing gravity force at different latitudes caused by different widths of the earth. I don't see why centrifugal forces would affect gravity

It does, but the effect is orders of magnitude smaller.

It is all acceleration and affects the same instruments.

The Flat Whatever folks seem to never have understood it’s all a joke and no one believes them.
