Re: MEN IN PINK
I hate to admit it, but if my choices are CPR on a bunch of old geezers or eating tons of beautiful raw fish......well the fish will win every time.
(excuse the interruption as I try to get this BULL DOG off of my arm, he is really hampering my ability to type)
To say that the OTC impressed the heck out of me would be a massive understatement. A few other impressive moments from the Lorax event:
Tim Roop and his incredible aerial rescue. (and his sudden decision to stop being a vegetarian and include some raw fish in his diet)
Bruce Smith nailing both high crotches in the throwline.....in two throws total!!!!!!
The OTC...well just about everything about him.
Scotty and family for their ability to put up with tons of smelly, dirty climbers for the weekend. Cheers to brotherhood Scotty. Next time try to lower out a few 40" Live Oak limbs with that Fly line prior to giving me the pleasure of putting a splice on it.
Doug and his money making Wasabi feast....by the way I know its a little late but that is NOT guacamole.
Brian Gould for heading up a very well run and challenging event.
Tim Bushnell and his excellent Master Climb. In case you didn't know it those guys at Sherrill don't just talk a good game, they can back it up. Also Tim and Sherrill for the prizes and support of the event.
Terry Roundtree, Eric Engstrom, Luke Hill, Doug LaFortune, Jim Benkleman and all of the Geezers for the incredible display of comraderie and climbing.
Cory Petry actually being able to put up with me for 40 hours of driving.
(dang BULL DOG...hey Scotty, does your wife have anything I can borrow to soak up this blood?????)
All of the volunteers and organizers and the city of Windermere for allowing us to invade their city for the weekend.
Thanks again Scotty for the excellent time and for inviting us down to share in this experience. LONG LIVE THE GEEZERS.
