can you possibly fax it? 941-342-1463, if not I already added both of you to my ever growing and changing list, and assume you will be at the classes on Friday.

Update for everyone:

Friday morning, 2 hour pruning class with Dr. Ed Gilman from 10-12, then we will break for about an hour, then there will be a DOT class from 1-3PM bring a lunch, at this point we will not provide lunch! This will be free for the first 50 registered contestants and volunteers, first come, first served.

Gear check will begin on Friday afternoon/evening, it may be at the park, but most likely at the hotel for those available. This is not mandatory, but we prefer to get as much accomplished before Saturday morning as possible, as we would like to have events starting EARLY on Saturday morning. If you need a room number, etc be sure I have your cell number and I will text everyone who needs it a room number to bring your gear to!

If any local companies would like to donate we still need cash and prizes, we also need drinks, snacks, ice, and other various items. Want to buy us some caution tape and write it off??stop watches? pay my hotel bill? (oh sorry just figured I would throw that out there). I have also been asked to locate an air card for lovely Danae in the event she needs to locate us some last minute info online.

Spoke with another local Tally friend today and added another name to the list, so we are now at the 20 contestant mark.

Thank you to all who have helped so far, it is nice to have support of great folks!! oh, and you too Scotty,

I am sad to say on a personal note that I will not be involved in the FCTCC in 2011

, my husband Marty whom many of you already know has been offered a position in New York, and will be leaving immediately after this TCC to get to his orientation. I will stay until school is over, so....if ANYBODY is willing to help Gabe run the 2011 TCC PLEASE let me know. It is ALOT of work, but if you are willing I would LOVE to have somebody basically be my shadow when we are in Tally. I believe 2011 will be in Central Florida, and yes early in the year as the 2011 ITCC will be in Australia, so we need to leave time for travel preperation (passports, etc).
Keep in mind, you have to have time to dedicate as well as patience (and lots of it) though I have anger issues, so maybe patience isn't all that important. You also need to be able to answer to many people, so be flexible. But most of all, you have to enjoy it, otherwise you will be the most miserable person possible.

I wonder in NJ chapter would take me???

I will help as much as I can. Just let me know what is different from geezers to isa.

The 2010 FCTCC is quickly approaching, on Saturday and Sunday 2/27 and 2/28 we will be heading to beautiful Tallahassee Florida to see who has what it takes to represent Florida at the ITCC this summer.
I would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have helped out by supporting the upcoming event. We have had some amazing companies and great people step forward to help make this TCC happen. There is no way it could be done without all of the amazing support.
If you are donating and/or sponsoring the event and have not spoken or emailed Jennifer directly please do so soon, printing of literature will begin this week, and all logos and company names need to be in by mid week if you want to be listed.
If you still need to make hotel reservations, please do so before the hotel stops our group rate ($70/night, group rate FLTCC) Country Inn & Suites 3096 N. Monroe St Tallahassee 32303 (850)701-2850. I am told it is about a 15 minute drive from the park. Your credit card will not be charged until you check in, so please reserve now.
If you are competing PLEASE let us know ASAP and get your registration in to the office, registrations can be found at www.FloridaISA.org please remember you have to be a current ISA member. There is also a spot for volunteers to download a volunteer form.
Also please take a few moments to review the rules online at:
http://itcc.isa-arbor.com/rules-scoring/resources/2009Rules_Final.pdf
The first 50 registered competitors and/or volunteers and sponsors are invited to a proper pruning class taught by Dr. Ed Gilman, the class will begin at 10AM at Myers park, and last until 12 Noon, at which point there will be a 1 hour break (please BRING a lunch, or be prepared to leave to eat, lunch will NOT be provided on Friday). Then from 1-3PM, Lieutenant Dave from the DOT will provide a class on safe loading and what to expect in an inspection. There is limited space for these classes, so PLEASE register now before all spots are filled. If you show up and there is space we will allow you to participate, however if all spots are filled and your name is not on the list sadly you will be asked to leave.
Gear check will begin on Friday if you are available please let us know, we are in hopes to get most, if not all gear checked on Friday to ensure a quick start on Saturday morning.
If you will be a head judge at any given station, please contact either Gabe, or Scotty, (numbers listed below) head judges are being asked to be available to set up their event.
We are looking forward to a great competition, and welcoming a few new friends.
Don’t forget you can follow the FCTCC on face book, simply become a fan of Florida Chapter ISA Tree Climbing Competition.
See you all soon!
