    Pine sap on work gear...

    i've scrubbed sap off my ropes with hand cleaner, a nail brush and warm water which worked well but i'll definitely try wheelloaders rubbing alcohol tip in future. and butter works great for getting sap off skin :)

    I have some alders with furled leaves and a thin white web just in the fold. inside are several tiny black specks on the underside of the leaf. (frass?) no holes or chewing marks.
