What has everyone used to pull small brush/trees?

My answer is a hydro leak is an ‘if’ but applying herbicide is a ‘sure thing’.

    Bid that tree!

    No, it’s Chris.

What has everyone used to pull small brush/trees?

I just tore out an acre yesterday with the mini skid and a tooth bucket, 2.5 hours, pushed into a burn pile. Mostly buckthorn, honey suckle, and boxelder. Biggest boxelder was 4”ish. If they don’t push out clean you can beaver away with a tooth on the bucket.

PNW laminated rot, overgrowth, hoarding, demo, GTG?

It doesn’t take very long before nature takes over. I’ve got two harrow drags I found when I was clearing some of my land that used to be farm. So I put them off to the side and ten years later I have to cut them out of a walnut tree if I wanted to reuse them.

    Bid that tree!

I had one very similar to this. My buddies cousin bought a 880 (because it’s the biggest) and thought it made him super logger. I have a pic somewhere of the ‘attempt’. I just set a line and ripped it over but that’s the carved turkey stump.

    Bid that tree!

Price goes up because they now “compromised” the integrity of the tree.

    GRCS Worth it with mini.

I did. And I really like having a little less weight to the frame and have hung some pretty big wood off of the setup, three thousand easily with double whip and no movement on the trunk. Hanging the frame off of a small sling around the trunk is the ticket. Some pics of GRCS hung wood...

    GRCS Worth it with mini.

$3600 plus $500 so $4100 + shipping or $2500? $2500 sounds like a steal to me. $2500 is one job. Just saying. If it were me I’d buy it. Hell you could buy it and flip it for a few hundred more.

    GRCS Worth it with mini.

2500 for the GRCS and drill is a very good price. I have a mini and GRCS, the mini is a daily driver and the GRCS sits most of the time but when it’s needed it is the most valuable tool to ever have existed.

Do you ever have the occasional customer service experience like this?

It’s like anything when you read reviews. If there are 100 good reviews a one bad review IMO the common denominator wins. Always try and make it right but at the same time charge for your time. If they want something that was outside your initial estimate or contract, they’re getting an up...

    Rigging with karabiners

Get yourself a nice tree out in the open and push the limits. You might be surprised at what you can rig.

    Rigging with karabiners

All day every day. I’ve never broke a steel biner or bent one but I have smushed the locking collar.

Air Cannons are not toys but..............

I kinda see air powered throw ball launchers as a gateway drug to punkin chunkin. Hand throwing leads to a big shot leads to an air power throw ball launchers leads to punkin chunkin air cannons. Maybe a trebuchet for the guys who want to keep it old school. Lol

    Tree video drama

Is that reason, plausible deniability? It never happened? I don't know what you are talking about? lol But also I'd hope that a 'raised eyebrow moment' would be few and far between and not something you turn into content.
