    Is it possible to do a tree well/ mulch ring using 1” washed rock the size of the CRZ+ some for future growth? Then pave around that.

    A hydraulic shop would be a good stop/call. I’m just thinking parts availability and know how. I’ve had good luck with them talking me through some issues I had with a pump.

    Personally I like the carbide ones. The hardened steel ones you can take a cutoff disc and make gullets. But yes they do gum up but are easy to unclog.

    Oscillating multi tool is my go to for girdling roots. As for narrower tips you can always cut/grind the cutter to meet your needs.

    One work around with the drainage is cut a bunch of limbs and fill it, build up enough padding logs on either side to bridge the gap.

    Take the fence apart and send it. Top rail is already bent, a post will need to be removed. It will probably add two hours to the total job.

    You can always take him out for drinks and dinner. Have the misses/you bake him an apple pie. There are all kinds of ways to repay someone without money. He may also enjoy splicing and you gave him something to splice.

    I don’t think those high efficiency washing machines do a very good job cleaning. Wifey and I have one with some lame agitator-less washer, never again.

    Don’t forget about the folks down south that got washed away. Water and low places is no place to be when it starts to flow. The sheer devastation in Nepal is rather astounding and heartbreaking, all those people just gone instantly.

    Air compressor and a blow gun for cleaning out your pockets. It does an amazing job of getting every last crum of dust/saw chips out. Only takes two or three seconds per pocket. Same for muddy boots.
