I'll second that. However, there are quite a lot of crane operators who want nothing to do with trees. Most of the companies around here will not pick up a tree, but we are fortunate to have a lot of crane services around to choose from.
And I agree, I've seen a lot of trees I wouldn't want to touch without a crane on here, makes things a lot easier and safer in my opinion.

We removed all that dead stuff (canker) a couple few months ago with the Tele. It still has canker here and there. Dropping limbs and not shading much that needs shaded. Also they are tired of the leaves in the yard and very tired of in the pool.

I’ll probably try to get both teles out there with operators and I’ll feed both of them from the man lift. One of my welders has a pretty healthy chipper, and another has some big gooseneck dump trailers. The foliage is the only thing that I think might slow us down. I did one that was a 75’ ball years ago. Burned limbs for days. I have a dirt bucket for one of the teles. I might cut firewood straight into it and it dump in a dump trailers. Let it dry and then sell it.

You know what, both corners are bent now from limb drop. Drop the fence and flop flop flop and the fence guy can fix it.

pile up the brush and then start flopping logs, right? there should be enough left to cushion it so you don't crack the big ditch
Is a Ficus trunk even symmetrical enough to predictably face and fell? The ones I’ve seen look like a smooth gray included dreadlock.
I am sure at a certain height you could make sense of structure as leads branch away from the middle.
Maybe it’s time for a Woodcracker on your tele even if it’s not a roto.

One work around with the drainage is cut a bunch of limbs and fill it, build up enough padding logs on either side to bridge the gap.

I would love to one day lift a tree with a helicopter. We pick up trees with cranes all the time, big cranes regularly, but never a helicopter. And I like helicopters.
Beyond visibility, I hear it’s really a game of numbers and dialing it all in. Lift capacity, distance/fuel per cycle, on and on. It all has to be accounted for and zero fudging.
