A buddy of mine made 2 ultra slings for me, one is 13’
One is 7’.
3/4” Tenex. I supplied the rope and rings.
He said he’s not expecting compensation but I want to pay him for his time, what would be an appropriate dollar amount to make it worth his time? I’m not trying to be cheap, I want him to be happy with the amount but I have no clue what it should be.

Those are some of the simplest to make. I don't work fast, and am meticulous at each stage, but I like to do that stuff with tge fam watching a movie, so I end up having to re-check things occasionaly and even then, I would have those both done watching 2001: A Space Odessey. Call it 2.5 hours and feel good about it. What someones hourly rate will be is highly subjective/variable, but start there?
