Walked away after starting a job today

I encouraged the fire disposal method. One wife one concurs, and wants to rent a mini-x, other wife is anxious.

Everything fits in a fire! Gravel and rocks don't matter!

A steel pipe and a shop vac with the hose reversed makes for a quick hot burning fire! So much that I’ve melted steel.

I've never tried that, but a handheld leaf blower hooked to a decent sized pipe does the same thing really well. I have done that one.

Charge accordingly.
On jobs where the custy wants to do the clean up I’ll do a good job of organizing the mess so if they call for me to clean it up it’s not all cluster fucked.

Full price "100"
Down only, mess is left as is/ machined out of the way "65"

Down and organized "75"

Starts as Down Only at 65, add cleanup after, "50" more, "125" total

Cleanup, after starting organized
"115".

Hourly-based pruning jobs can be fuul/ part Cleanup, down-only, or piled a bit, or organized.

Often, people see we are killing it, with a BR800 and strong backs and will keep up processing a bunch, finishing themselves.

Leaving them everything so no cutting is needed, allowing dragging to a burn pile/ out into the woods/ for a owned/ rentrd chipper, can be a win.

Raking at the end of the day is hard on my shoulders and plain grunt work. I don't mind them finishing. They see that we don't "milk" the clock, and are comfortable with fair pricing and treatment. Lots of people around here like yard work. It's beautiful around here. Very few 'urban' jobs.

Starting to get off topic from the original post but just want to clarify, that pic was not one of my jobs. I was helping a friend who also has a tree service.

On my own jobs, if it’s no cleanup we will specify what will be done with debris, whether it’s going to be put in piles, cut up into manageable sized pieces, or left wherever it lands.

We got more derailers around here than a dang'ole bicycle factory
