Innovative removable swivel attachment point on ISC Reflex eliminates need for carabiners, rings or swivels on bridge!

I had searched for videos about the Reflex hoping to learn more in anticipation of getting mine. I was surprised to see that people were saying the removable attachment point was not going to be used because it could not be removed without completely removing the rope from the device. At least...

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

Hell ya! It self tends one handed in MRS even with no rope weight, just like ART's other devices, and descends super smooth and easily in both modes!!!!! Awesome!!!!

    New device from ISC

ISC emailed me back V-rig yes Attaching secondary system no Here's the details for anyone curious. So back on February 25th I emailed ISC the following. In MRS configuration is the Reflex designed to be able to use a V-rig type configuration where the termination would be in the lower...

    New device from ISC

I emailed ISC asking about multiple configurations for the MRS attachment points including a v-rig and or connecting a second system. The multiple attachments seem perfect for it but as the leverage on the lower arm squeezes the rope in the lower friction point more as the links are pulled off...

Innovative removable swivel attachment point on ISC Reflex eliminates need for carabiners, rings or swivels on bridge!

The Reflex attachment point is designed to be capable of being put directly onto a climbing harness bridge. It fits perfectly on a double rope bridge as well as other rope or webbing bridges. The attachment point can be removed from and installed onto the device with or without a rope installed...

If DMM made more carabiners that locked on a ring like the Revolver

Here are some examples of configurations if they did. It works, but the ring capturing bottom would work better.

If DMM made more carabiners that locked on a ring like the Revolver

I don't know of any R.E. ring capturing carabiners or carabiners with horns. DMM would just have to combine their Revolver and Rhino.

    The Akimbo 2

Okay, I think I've got it! At least until DMM makes a Rhino style top on a Revolver ring capturing bottom. The little neoprene washer works perfect! And the Pinto spacer doubles as a block so the A2 can't fall over the gate in SRS.

    The Akimbo 2

While I still have not figured out the perfect connection for the A.2. for MRS, (particularly with the frustratingly oversized attachment hole). I believe I have come up with a way to make the Akimbo's actually function properly in MRS! Now I can tend it from below just like you would be able to...

    New device from ISC

It's funny, I actually find how well and perfectly this device works right out of the box a little... I don't know, boring... LOL. Bear with me here, so from the beginning of tying multiple different configurations of hitches with multiple different lengths of hitch cord and different diameter...

    New device from ISC

Yes, and I've always found the more compact the connection from the device to the bridge the easier it is to have a tending point that doesn't have to be up at your throat. I have the Kinisi adjustable bridge, so I can easily make it the perfect length. But even before the adjustable bridge...

    New device from ISC

"Things I don't like: *I don't like that the MRS attachment hole has to use a ISC Small Oval." This is not true. Even the instructions (which of course want you to use proprietary brand biners) recommend a full size, or compact. I've tried multiple different carabiners and almost all of them...

    New device from ISC

I've had my Reflex for a little over a month but I've only gotten to climb on it a few times. As we're actually having a real winter here in Southern New England this year. I've been playing around a bit in the house in the meantime. The weather has also given me an unusual amount of free time...

If DMM made more carabiners that locked on a ring like the Revolver

DMM responded to my email. "We really appreciate the thought you’ve put into your ideas around captured-ring carabiner designs and the various device applications you’ve outlined. I’ve passed your suggestions on to our product design team for consideration."

If DMM made more carabiners that locked on a ring like the Revolver

I believe you're missing the point. It sounds like you're talking about using the akimbo in SRS. There isn't room to put a spacer and an eye splice on an oval carabiner next to the device without both the device and the splice bending around the side of the top of the carabiner. There are lots...

If DMM made more carabiners that locked on a ring like the Revolver

I've been thinking about a better solution for attachment of certain devices. I think a great solution and alternative would be to have more carabiners that locked onto a ring like the current Revolver from DMM. I emailed them with the suggestion. If you agree, perhaps we could all nudge them...

T540 M3 idle issue.... Any suggestions....

I did, they said the only way they knew of was to let it idle for 3 minutes or have it hooked up to the proprietary software and reset.

T540 M3 idle issue.... Any suggestions....

I have a T540 M3 that's fully modded, ported and has a West Coast exhaust. The saw absolutely rips however when it's hot and humid it only idles for about 20 seconds and then it loads up and stalls and requires the choke to start even when hot. I've been trying to figure out how to get the auto...
