This one hits so heavy...a terrible loss!
Norm made a profound impact on my career in arboriculture. All the time he gave me and the great discussions we had here on treebuzz and in person. I'm truly at a loss for words!

So you have the older version of the distels where the pad/strap is riveted to the cuff? So you will be cutting that off?
Regardless attached is a picture with the 2.0 pads on the Distel's which is the same as the original Geckos. It's not an exact fit but its ok.
Almost a hundred people searched for it on the site. Not including the phone calls and text messages.
It hurt my heart to post it. I want it to be true just like all of you.
That being said while visiting the Stihl booth at the TCI expo last fall I would ask..."I'm super excited for the 200i...
We tend to have rope ends from time to time but we usually put them into our Arbsession Assorted Lanyards.
It has been a very popular option for climbers looking for lanyards.
Please note all of our ropes have a "by the foot" option in the event you want to try and splice a specific rope. When...
The locking action that replicates the 200 series blocks was a great idea.
We do have them up on the site if anyone wants to grab one. We have moved a bunch already.

Actually looking to add this feature to our website. In the meantime we have had people write to us in the order comments not to throw any free items in. Which we do appreciate them telling us.
Distel makes great spurs! They were the original manufacturer of the Gecko spurs. Any of the Notch...
Yea these are our cut off ends. They vary based on what is on hand at the time. It is completely random. We do try and break it up based on rope construction.
Whoever plans to be at the Tree Care Industry Expo in Charlotte we hope you stop in and say hello! Booth 835. We are across/next to the Bandit Booth. You might even be able to see us from the Demo Tree.
First time having a booth. It will be a blast!
We originally tried to use our loader because that's how we installed them but for some reason I couldn't get the stairs to release. So pulled the truck to about 20' outside of the building and stretched her in. Lifting straight up at the hook location was the key. The bottom we floated on a...
Took the stairs off the pallet racking at our old Arbsession location with our PK65. Having this knuckleboom has been a game changer in our EAB infested area for the tree service.
2-3 of them are used for sales. The rest are pulled and used for EAB injections or running errands, etc. I bought them because they get some serious attention and 30mpg.
Nissan discontinued them in North America in 2015 or so. Kinda sad really. Great little cars. Honestly the cube platform...
I've done this to some very old SMH10 units. It works well. Outside of the battery if any issues arise be sure to update the firmware. If that doesn't work one last thing to try is factory reset and reinstall the firmware.
Here is the link to the Duck Oil:
Duck Oil for Carabiners
It is some awesome stuff. Only really need two drops to free up the most sticky carabiner gates.
By the way you all are awesome! We appreciate the shoutouts! We are going places and it is all because of your support!
@Brocky so it's not a knut h. I reposted a video on Instagram of me tying it (and telling the story about randomly tying it years ago and posting it here only to have no one having a name for it) and someone mentioned a catalan hitch. Which I can't find any thing on that name.
If you go on the computer you can scroll to the year and see the full drive by image.
For some reason it comes up for one image on the phone but not the others as you scroll through. I remember going to this house when I was little with my dads blue Chevy with plywood chip body and chuck and...
