    Planting & Preservation Forum?

I think the different ANSI standard sections should be represented on the forum. I think maybe the different Australian arboriculture standards should also be represented since Australia seems to really be into training and certs. I think the ISA certifications should each be represented. I...

    500i Battery Saw?

Me too, those Arbsession guys nailed it. The hair on the back of my neck raised in the 10 seconds it took me to figure it out. I was half way through prepping my "that's bullsh*t 'cause lithium" speech when another guy's April fools recognition comment popped my balloon...

    Girth hitch dyneema?

Slippery, poor uv resistance, low melting point, light weight, strong tensile strength, low elongation. Not great for sailing, right?

    Bracing Equipment?

This has been kicked around in other threads. These drills are not spec'd for our use and we really max them out compared to other industries. The superhawg has a clutch that keeps it from ripping your thumb off when the drill bit binds in the hole. The hole hawg does not have that. I'm n9t...

    Bracing Equipment?

If you check the ANSI standard, the bits should be 1/16 larger than the hardware, so a 7/8ths rod requires a 15/16ths bit/hole. 3/4" is a common bracing rod size, but I feel like 7/8" is best because it is not much larger than 3/4" in proportion to the trunk size and allows you to brace all...

What is the smallest diameter hole that the Milwaukee quick attach fits into?

    Bracing Equipment?

Milwaukee superhawg. American arborist supply for up to 15' bit length, but the fluting is only two feet. Hardware is hot dipped galvanized low carbon steel coarse threaded. ANSI A300 standard and bmp is a must.

    Home Foundation Damage

As silly as 20 feet seems, the appropriate person to comment on this root/house issue is both an engineer and an arborist.

Selling *all* business equipment and hardware

Thanks Steve, it was very good to see you too. Predictably, the new job is quite different There are aspects of it that I just could not do in my own company structure, so it is good to expand a bit. However, there is not a lot of hands on work. I submitted a budget for a lot of technical...

Selling *all* business equipment and hardware

I wanted to sell all or nothing at the time I originally posted. Now I want to sell the least amount of my least critical gear. The chipper is awesome, but I need it least. I want to do some pruning side jobs, and slab logs with my csm.

    WTB Bandit 75XP or a 65XP

Selling my chipper. Cut and pasted from my TreeBay thread: $16k for the 2016 75xp bandit chipper with extra knives, bolts, and torque wrench. It's ready to keep working with no sign of issues. About 200 hrs. on it. It's really nice.
