    I would look at the load chart. you may have to pin the jib to keep the cylinders from pulling out on heavier picks or not position it vertical... You should invest in a hard hat and safety glasses as well:)

    That should not be used with the carabiners as the attachment point to the crane unless they are rated for side loading. If they rest on top of a downhaul weight they will also see damage over time to the gate.

    Girth hitching the TIP directly to the load line is not a good practice. The load line has oil and potential wire picks which can damage the rope. The potential is also there to damage it during a 2 block situation(if this is a concern a different crane should be used). Its simple enough to use...
