    Spider Lift Comparison

Depends what the tow vehicle is. A one ton truck or van (usually 11 or 12k gross) can tow a 14k equipment trailer and stay under cdl. 450/4500 series trucks generally have a 15k gross and would put you into cdl range.

Steve, I searched Adaptable Aerial Services and you never poped up in the first three pages. I did however search Adaptable Aerial Solutions and you were right there! You might want to add in Services to your keywords in case one of your potential customers gets your name wrong, its so easy to...

Least expensive 4-wheel-drive lawn / garden tractor

I wouldn’t contemplate a tractor over a mini skid. I would however contemplate a 40-50hp or larger tractor over getting a full sized skid steer.

Giant(Branch manager) vs Avant vs multi one

Forget the chains. Tall skinny tires are the way to go for pushing snow on pavement. A different set of rims and tires with a set of spacers or adapters would be the ticket.

Least expensive 4-wheel-drive lawn / garden tractor

I had a 4100 Deere and loved the tractor but for tree work comparing it to my mini, the mini wins hands down. And I only have a little Thomas 25gt. There are some very capable minis out there now. Feeding the chipper and the space required on the trailer is where the mini really shines. I...

    Bucket truck opinions

Two man bucket sucks for tree work. That thing sounds heavy, like you won't be able to bring it across a customers lawn. The jibs are really useless for tree work.

    Chipper purchase and paperwork

If you plate it or anything else you use for tree work you can get cheap plates here. Special mobile equipment plates, the letter designation is SUX, are 10% of the standard fee schedule or $18 a year whichever is greater.

    Chipper purchase and paperwork

You'll need to plate and register a trailer that weight in WI. They recently changed things here in WI and you can now get a title for a vehicle that has been lost or misplaced if its not in your name. You will have to take out a bond through a insurance company and do some paper work but you...

    Camper van for traveling

Tom do some research if you want to flat tow an awd vehicle. Off the top of my head I believe most are a no go. I think you may need to step up to something like a GMC Envoy or similar that still has a regular transfer case with a neutral position.

    Tower Climber.......Anyone do this??

I have not done it before. I wasn't exactly looking to get into it but thought my skill set would be a good match for the job. So I applied for about a dozen jobs that I saw, but like I said never even heard back. I'd like to get into it if the price is right, but kinda doubt most would be...
