Dump trailer with platform for a mini....?

The mini usually rides in the dump trailer. If the trailer is full I’ll bring the mini home in the back of the chipper. It works. Not really ideal but much better than a lot of other alternatives. Works for me but I also have a bigger chipper and a smaller mini than most.

    Log or Chip Boiler?

With a chip boiler the difficulty comes with drying your fuel. When I was researching chip boilers at the time most fuel sources were logs that were harvested and dried in log form, then the dry logs chipped. There where ways to dry chips but they all seemed either one or a combination of the...

    This is the Akimbo

There was an electric assender on Kickstarter not long ago. I believe it wasn’t designed or primarily intended for tree climbing but they were marketing it to tree guys.

    I don’t love what I do....

I advance my skills continually without loving what I do, so do many others. I do so to make more money, so I can do more of the things I love. I have some expensive hobbies. By the way I wasn't talking about climbing related stuff here.

    Bandit 65 - Replacing Engine

I've had good luck with the Chinese knockoff motors but still don't 100% trust them. Like what's been said already, if its a hobby or side work and you could live without it great, but if you depend on this unit don't buy a Harbor Freight motor.

    Climbing in the rain

I have hooks hanging from the rafters of my basement that I hang them across, then point a fan in their direction. I've seen guys with racks that lower from the ceiling with a pulley system, drape their ropes over, than hoist 'em back up into the air.

    No longer available

I prefer to see what’s been offered for sale, what’s sold, what it’s asking price was ect. So just adding sold to the title is great, I’m not a fan of the op deleting the whole add.

Buying used trucks and modding them

Just keep it in mind when your buying or get creative. My brother was looking for a small single or tandem dump but anything clean was going for big bucks. He found a killer deal on a 08 8500 with 50,300 miles and a 16ft flatbed. Was planning on building sides and adding a hoist but found a...

Buying used trucks and modding them

Swapping bodies is fairly easy and strait forward. Adding hydraulics and changing the wheelbase can get difficult, expensive and time consuming. I buy what I get a good deal on and usually build to suit.
