    CMC fatality

The manufacturer claims the lifts were “misused” but offer no proof. These broke when being operated.

Any way to remove a clutch/sprocket *without* jamming-up the cylinder?

    Silky pole saw replacement

I’m madder than a hornets nest right now about this. I called shelter and they confirmed and couldn’t help me if I needed replacement parts. I’m steaming mad. The hyuachi was my go to and I thought the 475 price tag was cheap for how useful it was and now I gotta deal with this Sherrill, sorry...

    Topping Arborvitae

How many guys here have had to tie into an arb and pull a Jean Claude van dam split against the nearby stems in order to top them where you couldn’t get a lift in??? Sweat and swear your ass off and then get down and realize you gotta go back up to take another 6” off.

I noticed both you and Steve opted for cab mount. I would think a rear mount would yield more reach but maybe I’m wrong. Is there a benefit to cab mount?

    Issue with woodsman

I replaced the autofeed with a brand new LOR and it still does that. I think it’s a loss of hydraulic pressure when the engine bogs down so the feed wheel can’t reverse the drum sucking the wood in.

    Treerex vs Evo

I have some gripes with the TR but all and all I think it’s a step up from my onyx and the ability to change the center of gravity for the bridge on the fly is fantastic.

I’ve found you gotta wear the TR above the hips
