    Sena comm systems

I had problems with 2 sets of SMH-10R; in a row. Crazy static. Other people seem to love them. I Guess Revzilla got a bad batch. Recently switched over to the SMH-10, and I'm quite happy with them. This is my first true month with the communication devices and I feel like they are worth...

    Eastern Red Cedar Root System

I was reading an interesting article about unknown old growth trees in Canada. https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/a-secret-forest-grew-for-millennia-in-north-america-without-anyone-noticing Near the bottom of the article, it speaks about the root systems in Eastern White Cedar Tree... "It...

    Hobbs device

For sure Rico, I'm just hoping to get some tips, before I bring it to the machinist. I think a socket is threaded into the aluminum bollard clockwise. Just found another pic from another thread @Pelorus, do you have any idea of the depth and spacing of the threads that were used? Any...

    This is the Akimbo

I use the abr HUT in winter in order to layer my clothing. I wonder if the bungee is no go for that clip in spot as it might turn into a bit of a projectile when leaning back or sitting back into system quickly

    This is the Akimbo

Looks awesome. Interesting clip in point. I wonder if it naturally releases you when you sit back into your system

Carabiners for canopy anchors - crossloading and loading over edge

I don't choke with aluminum biners, but I do with steel ones and quite often. Interesting video nonetheless. edit: Not set remotely*

    Best laserpointer for treework?

This thing is actually quite bright. Easily see it in the daytime for estimates. Comes with rechargeable battery and charger. I guess the key is, how long will it last, and how does it hold up to hot/cold temperatures in a truck. However, so far so good.

    Best laserpointer for treework?

I have found the laser to be very helpful on estimates. I only use it on about 5-10% of my bids, but when i need it, it sure comes in handy. Start at trunk of tree and slowly move light where you are trying to explain work targets. Easy for customer to follow.
