I disagree. The biggest hurdle we face is salaries have not kept up with the cost of living in most places. Why should anyone get motivated if they face minimal investment from employers?
It sounds like they’re just trying to be transparent to their customers about the realities of these tariffs. The original email:

Hey [name], it's Nick.
I'm sure you've seen the news, and I wanted to send a quick note about the impact of the new...
I would be hesitant to use a company unaware that it is currently in use in MD. Macro injection is a bit of a “lost art” and not many companies do it right.
Injections are legal in MD. Find yourself a company that can do macro injections and have it scheduled from full leaf expansion to end of July. Any later and you see reduced efficacy.

Look into Davey’s research in regards to Potassium Phosphite fertilizers for management of BLD. While you’re not actually treating the nematodes you will be strengthening the trees natural ability to be more robust and resistant to pests and diseases. It’s not a bad recommendation without a soil...
Ive gotten some root stock and scions from Cummins Nursery in the past and have about 50 root stock and 25 scions coming from them and one other grower with the intention of selling a bunch. Really easy to work with and responsive.

It’s just a support role through the company I work for. I cover multiple offices and depending on the need and what’s going on I’m either with sales arborists or production workers providing support/training. The lions share is with new people, but it’s pretty varied.

I do plenty of support for them. It can be soul crushing for some, and a welcomed transition for others. I think the soul crushers typically put way too much pressure on themselves, get stuck in the past (missing production work, or past roles) and try to take too much at once. Support systems...
It’s surely a weakly attached branch, looks like an epicormic that was left to grow.
However, that’s a large wound at the trunk.
These are the types of decisions that can make my head spin because there is no right answer.
I would probably lean toward reducing the weight of that limb rather...
Correct. I guess to alleviate that you could have a long lanyard to a sling but even the crazy safety centric company I work for doesn’t have us do anything like that.
This is what we use at our offices. I did not realize it was that much money, but worth it I think. Put a carabiner on the eye and you can put on harness or store on a limb much safer
Those columnar oaks get filthy! They seem to accumulate a lot of interior deadwood, and as it all breaks down and decomposes it seems to just build up at the base. I used to think they were great trees until I worked on them.
American hornbeam seem to naturally thrive on full shade but not sure I agree for European being a full shade. Pretty common landscape plant as hedging or anchoring trees and almost always planted in full sun around here. They do well until they are planted alongside a road/driveway/house. Those...
