    Rope climbing in gym class

I have a nice one in my warehouse. Nice little workout. Crazy world we live in today. No gym class at all in many schools. Pure child abuse.

    An interesting discussion

Phthalates are in the water. Phthalates cause feminization of male human beings. Maybe, as a person who has devoted decades to understanding the research, he knows what he is talking about. From NIH.gov • Early onset of puberty. • Interfering with the male reproductive tract development. •...

    Electrolyte supplements?

Has your wife's sodium actually been tested? If low, easy fix. My MIL was having low sodium. Now she just takes a sodium pill each day. A few pennies a day and she is "cured".

    Electrolyte supplements?

It's not that bad yet. Tons of potassium and magnesium in veggies. Almost no historical change in magnesium levels. About a 25% drop in potassium across 36 different fruits and vegetables. Not hard to find which ones aren't effected or eat a bit more.

    Electrolyte supplements?

I would respectfully suggest that not only do you not need the sugar, but if you are on a good diet, you don't need magnesium and potassium. Salt is the primary element you lose to sweat, and the only one that can be quickly replaced. It makes sense to use salt to replace lost electrolytes in...

    Please keep your parrot indoors

Nice rescue. Our parrot escaped one day and spent about 4 hours in a 60 foot pine. Finally I played my harmonica, which he hated, and he flew down to attack...straight into the living room. :-)

    RIP Jed Walters

Wow! I have watched the World's Best Tree Felling Tutorial many, many times. As a guy who just needed to do a little maintenance on my own trees and clear a big dead tree at my hunt club, I found the skills of you all in that video amazing, and excellent training for an inexperienced rookie...

    Work Photos

As you might guess from my signature, I'm a very inexperienced, untrained, rec climber. If you don't mind me asking, what is the purpose of the very deep notch shown in your photo?

All homemade but the crust. Pillsbury refrigerated crusts are as good as the best homemade and take the worst part out of the process.

    Fatal Towing Accident

Looks like several bad decisions. Never tow with ball hitch. Never tow with static rope. Use systems made for task. Also "looks" like they were stuck and getting snatched, but I can't really tell. Bring soft shackles for the receiver or hard shackles for tow points. I know it's easy to say...

"HelloFresh" meatloaf and buttered ginger rice meal. Got the half price deal on three recipes to try. Comes in a little cardboard icebox with everything fresh and raw, and you get to cook it up. :-) Very impressed. Excellent at half price; a bit expensive at full price. Some tastes I would not...

    Cats of Treebuzz…prrrrr

My neighbor vehemently DENIED that it was her cat coming into my yard, so I made little videos of him coming over every day for a week. Watching the videos she said sheepishly, "Well, that does look a little like him." Then I turned up the volume so she could hear his constant wailing cry, which...

    Weird tinnitus

I started having this about 6 month ago. No high blood pressure. Excellent blood work. Low body fat. So hopefully just a benign version, which is actually the most common cause. From national institute of health (NIH.gov): "The most common venous cause of pulsatile tinnitus is benign...

Pets of Treebuzz…any critters that Ellie May would have around

An armadillo baby in the hand is worth four in the bush. Four quadruplet brothers (all armadillo liters are identical due to Polyembryony) came walking up to me while hiking a SC sea island. No fear of humans.
