A rather un-photogenic meal this evening (I can never get an appetizing photo of soup!) but the contents of the bowl are quite delicious.

Ham and bean soup, made from the bone and leftover bits from the ham I baked yesterday. Dried navy beans, an onion, a carrot, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Dump it all in a pot, stir on occasion, and pull the bone and chop up the ham after about three hours or so. Results: quite delicious.

Edit: Forgot to attach the photo!

Minus the beans and put it on a hotdog and oh yeah

Revised Recipe: Ruben Deviled Eggs
Rev: 230122 1230

6 Eggs – hard boiled
60 g Thousand Island Dressing (NO Mayo – it dilutes the flavor)
25 g Corn Beef – small dice
25 g Swiss cheese – small dice
60 g Sauerkraut – Net dried by salad spinner

This may make excess “stuffing”, but the ratio’s are good !

Not looking good for my Bills a few minutes in to this game. Of course I would love to see them go all the way, but a couple weeks ago we faced Cincinnati and Buffalo had a bit of an emergency that warranted them to call the game while things were going pretty well for the Bengals. Throughout all that, Cincinnati team and fans showed this compassion, love, and sportsmanship that I thought was a rare thing these days. Beat my Bills and I shan’t begrudge them a damn thing.

Aside from Miami, I don’t think I encountered a more obnoxious group of fans than Philadelphia Eagles fans, but GODDAMN they got they got a team this year. I predict they take all and possibly embarrass their opponent during the big game.

Oh yeah food.
Made a spice bbq Buffalo sauce for mine. I think this air fryer is the best kitchen appliance made in my lifetime.
This Buffalo chicken dip stuff is excellent too!

Nice! I love a good beef pie. I’m just too lazy to make pie crust most of the time.

Living in Amish country has its advantages, ever hear of Zook’s Chicken Pies? They’re made right down the street from here, you can pick them up right at the front door. They do chicken, beef, and sausage pies. All are quite good.

All homemade but the crust. Pillsbury refrigerated crusts are as good as the best homemade and take the worst part out of the process.
