    WTB Notch quickie

ive got a locking shackle, pretty much a mix of quickie and quick link, works good BUT, without a pair of pliers to jam it shut it sketches me out, especially since any running rope has potential to loosen it not saying it will just come undone, BUT, I personally dont like it, and that pin...

sorry for any confusion, but the guys im talking about arent climbers, they run a "Jarraff" id expect better from climbers, as its very hard to control a 75ft fiberglass boom precisely

nope BUT, I do understand electricity, dont grab the power wire, dont go near the power wire, and the neutral can still kill you in general, just stay away from the wire, dont let your gear get anywhere near them, dont throw branches into them, and if possible have the power company wrap...

    WTB Notch quickie

yup ive got something similar, and I love it, but its a screw pin instead of a slic pin, and a pain to store on my saddle due to said pin, ive dropped the pin more times than I can count and, ive tried using a biner choked off, it sketches me out, and I dont have enough lol im going to put...

yeah, dont overlook this line clearance guys (atleast where I live) dont care about your trees, no proper pruning cuts, bark tearout, saw cuts that dont go all the way thru (Jarraff boom bouncing into stuff in the tree) I hate those guys

    WTB Notch quickie

ive got similar stuff, I want the quickie for another big reason, I can store it on my saddle much easier, currently I have the shackle screwed to a gear loop, much more likely to drop the pin while messing with it in a tree

listen to this man think of a pendulum, if your above the tie in, gravity wants you to be under it, if your under it, well, your already under it and cant fall below

    Spiking leaners, any advice?

why the ring and carabiner? wouldnt a quickie thru the bowline or spliced eye be faster, cheaper, and less to go wrong? p.s, if anyone has a quickie you would sell for cheap HMU

    Spiking leaners, any advice?

stay on top and if you roll around to the bottom, the only way ive found to get back to the top side is struggle, then do some more struggling DO NOT ROLL TO THE BOTTOM
