Some days things dont go quite right. Tire has never been overloaded. We check pressure weekly and its only about 15 months old.

What would YOU do in this situation?

Absolutely. Its really a lifestyle for most tree guys. Im headed back into the office after dinner myself tonight. Emergency work pushed my schedule around today. Btw a couple of pole clips that far over the property line I probably wouldnt have involved the neighbor.

This kinda of stuff is some of the unbillable time no one thinks about until they are in business for themselves

    2002 INTL 4400 ALC 60’ Rear Mount Bucket - $30K - SOLD

I think the cdl issues are hurting truck sales. Being up north doesnt help either. I wont buy anything from up north unless I have to. We have no rot issues here. Theres also no alc support here. Looks like a nice truck. Glws.

Yes they are. We use an 8,000 lbs machine with a grapple daily for tree work. It works great in addition to our sk850.

We went and looked at a larger excavator during a rainy day. We bid a job the other day that includes digging out 88 pine stumps. Bid another with 9 pine stumps. We keep renting 20,000 lb excavators to the point the rental costs are exceeding the payment on buying a machine. We already have a...

Cool. I thought it looked a bit longer than mine. I have a 32" on the 592 i recently picked up. It was the only lite bar my local dealer had in stock. I run a 32" and 42" on my 395. Any longer than 32" is a pain to get in and out of the saw scabbard on our bucket truck.

Yes I do as thats always a consideration when making a pick. Then theres the constant 60 percent of chart.

I ran our crane today myself. I have operated a bunch but not much with this new crane as Im usually climbing with it. I could get used to this crane. Its very nice to operate. This thing has lots of capacity at distance. 89ft and 4200 lbs of net lift capacity with 125 ft of boom out. Still 92...

Large excavator as a lifting machine? On a plus it could also deal with the stumps.

We already use a ring setup on our cranes for a climber tie in. I dont care for the free float from a pulley. I like a little top friction. I keep a rescue 8 on my harness as well. On long drops Ill throw it on and open my hitch. I like being on a hitch while tying dead eye crane slings so i...

Thanks! Ive been playing around with a rope wrench but having trouble getting it to run free going up. I wear out hitch cord a lot due to doing lots of crane rigging. A zigzag is on my to buy list anyway. If i can also use it with my rope wrench for SRT, even better.
