Used my MS201TC-M again today. It is stock and has not disappointed me yet (owned since July '15). I recall one significant tree-faller saying it's on par with the ol MS200T. I never owned a MS200T, so I can't provide a personal comparison.

Huh? 3" wood sounds like Silky Zubat material to me (lol). Though not as fast cutting as a bigger saw, but quicker than swapping saws for a single cut aloft, I have cut 16" oak with an MS150 using the 12" bar.
