Yep, once you get used to a certain spec latex palm glove (gray Atlas my favorite too) you'll rarely get it hung up in a hitch or multi-cender. Yep, I used a "lipstick" style helmet cam (Contour Roam series) for a long time, super low profile on the helmet, rarely got hung up. The opening on the lower trunk photo looks like an old injury from excavating or landscaping equipment. You're welcome! I've been finding that a box has to be a up a few months at least before nesting season so the owls have a chance to find it and get used to it. Some people are in habitat that's strong for screech owls and they'll pick up on the box more quickly than other locations that are...- moss

Am I missing something? Has anyone else climbed on a 32 strand cover line SRT mode with the Reflex? Seems too obvious. Super smooth cover line, Reflex top "bird" doesn't engage without a finger nudge. Possible it is not the spring gummed up with pitch, new 24-strand cover lines and 32 strand...- moss

I would dip your toes into it. Get a basic GoPro kit, all you need is the camera, helmet mount, a couple of high capacity MicroSD cards and 4 batteries. Add quick buckle to TM Essential
I didn't like the functionality of the slider buckle on my "new" used/unused TM Superlite (similar or same as the Essentials buckle). I mod'd to replace with a rated stainless parachute buckle.
