    After climbing longer on the All Gear Tech Cord Red it proved not to be so good. It bound too tight on the rope and actually got caught in the hitch climber on an ascent. Back to tenex for me.

    I have it. It is super static. More so than others around I believe. Doesn't have the best feel though with the wrench. If you are looking for a hitch cord that works well with it I just tried All Gear Tech Cord Red and it works very well with 11M HTP. Don't bother using Ice or beeline.

    I posted a similar question Waldo. I too think the Sherril rope chart is misleading. It would be helpful if someone would compile accurate measurements of rope stretch and bounce. It would make purchasing a rope a lot easier.

    I have had one slip too on a three strand. The Maasdam handle bent as well. The rope was fairly new. I have a feeling It was overloaded though. The rope got furred up where it slipped.
