Head count for ISA Conference/ITCC in Nashville

I get to go this year. I'll be working the whole time, but it will still be nice to see the ISA show and ITCC.

happiness is newark in the rearview mirror

Man Kevin, what a burn. After all the trouble I went through for you at TCI? :) And just for the record, doodling is strictly from 11:15-12:00. I spend the rest of the day refreshing the buzz board every 30 seconds to make sure no one is talking about me behind my back. :)

    Bousun vs. leg straps??

I prefer leg straps. I get to climb on most of the saddles on the market, and my preference is the Butterfly II. Please note the big grain of salt, that my climbing is limited and always recreational (or product research, but that's not "real" work :) ). I've got samples of the new...

    More uses for lasers

It was Mark who got shot. There doesn't appear to be any permanent damage, but still everyone needs to be careful.

    More uses for lasers

One of our sales reps was beamed in the eye accidentally at a trade show and he said he couldn't see out of that eye for about 20 minutes. The lasers we sell are 4.999 nM. We warn people not to point laser towards anyone's eyes.

Mark is correct. We (Sherrill) will be selling the SIP pants. Or rather, we ARE selling the SIP pants. We currently have them in stock and they will be in our 2005 catalog. They are not available online yet, so please call for pricing and availability. 1-800-525-8873

    PETZL Vertex

We received some samples from Petzl. They're nice helmets. It seems to me like they're an upgrade to the Ecrin series. Like the Ecrin series, the have 3 models, the Vented (=to Roc), the Best, and the ST. I have not given the helmets a thorough look yet, but what I noticed very quickly was...

    xmas decorations

I put up our decorations on our house on Sunday. It's our first Christmas in our first house, so we don't have much yet. Went to garden Ridge to pick up some outside decorations. We decided not to get lights yet, because of traveling we plan on doing. So I bought a nice wreath for the door...

Log Mauler I've never really examined their machinery in depth, but I've spoken with Chuck several times, and have seen his machine at the shows. It looks pretty good. http://www.logmauler.com -Sean
