Sorry...let me try that again!
Look like most every other used equipment supplier I know. JUNK!!:) Not really suited for the production tree company.....But I am sure someone would LOVE to own some of your equipment;)
We work. I try my best not to reschedule jobs. Its just a pain in my schedule and typically the client has been waiting 6 weeks for us anyways. Crane work is some of the best work that can be done in the rain. I purchased everyone on the crew the SIP rain gear and that keeps us very dry:)
Now...
Your waisting your money. The only reason that your intrigued by this is because of the price. I don't think this is going to work for you in your market. You trees are too tall. This bucket is too small. You will find that your spending more money and time working on it then running it. In the...
Steve, I think this is great! I think you will make this work and have already pushed further than many would have. There will always be uncertainties....those are uncertain because we can not see the future. One piece of advice I would give you...that no one really gave to me when I started my...
Our issue is not that we can't hear each other...its just really loud in our ear all day long. I wonder about the long term hearing loss, as things are not quiet.
When I started learning how to splice they sent what they called a marine rope. It was very easy to manipulate. I wasn't sure if it was designed, or rated for tree work. This looks to be the same rope. Only one way to find out;)
SWEET!! Just like mine...but you know that:) You will love it. The 1300 is a very compact crane with a pretty good chart up to about 50 feet. I have yet to need my jib and we have some tall pines. Post of picture once you take the first pick with it. Congratulations , you will sleep better now...
That might be a marine rope. I would check on it before you go dropping tops into it. Someone who knows rope could tell you all the specifics in no time!
I have the original sena communications. They work really good for the fact that you can talk with your crew. I have had them on every helmet for the last 3 years. Here are some of the things I am hoping an upgrade can help with.
1. Noise cancelation. The climber and crane operate can mic in...
I think that being concerned about the root system is prudent. However, if this guy knows what he is doing, then a bucket can be used and cause no damage to the root system. I would set the standard and make him deliver on that. If you make him put in his contract that no damage will occur to...
Sounds high to me. I think 96 sounds more reasonable to the customer. Maybe offer to leave all the brush and you could lower it to 56. Maybe only prune 11 feet out of the plum tree...that could get the price to around 33 dollars... Wait, I got it...only trim the top of one Arborvitae and...
The problem lies in depreciation. Once you take that equipment off the lot...its will depreciate a good amount. The bank then will be left with a depreciated piece of equipment they will have to try and sell. Even with you 100K down, the bank has to weigh in on...if this guys defaults on his...
