    @Tom Dunlap , didn't you have a lanyard with E&E eyes spliced onto a ISC swivel captive eye biner? The lanyard passed through the captive eye portion? I keep thinking of building that. It seemed like a really cool minimalist design.

    Q x bebbiana is alba x macrocarpa. It's pretty common and intermediate characteristics. I don't think sterility is an issue at all. In fact there are lots of back crossing as well.
