    The way I experience both is my RR is smooth and responsive, while my Akimbo is predictable and solid. But that could be settings, rope, endless variabilities.

    I’ve seen that before. It’s not core. All I could think of was it might be a means of connecting spools during manufacturing. just carefully cut it out, like removing a tag on new clothing.
