Ive been going through spark plugs like crazy, when I replace them the saw works perfectly. Im replacing the plug 2 times a month, I suppose its probably ethanol in the fuel? I thought at first it was a bad batch of plugs but am on the second order. Ive never had to add anything to the mix gas...
Go for it! I started my own business when I was 23, I wouldn't go back. Get a bookeeper right away and keep things organized. Be honest with people, work hard and you will make money. If you find good help pay them fairly, treat them with respect but demand results. For bidding give your price...
Get new knives at least until you have 10 or more sets (I waited until I had 40 sets or so) , then sharpen all of them, they wont be exact size but minimun anvil adjustment required if any.
So Ive been doing a vista prune for the last 15 years or so. Its about 2 acres of honeysuckle, native "choke" cherries, black oaks and a bunch of other shrub type species. The view is a marsh area in front of a condo complex, not great but what they have. Its also of course a downhill grade to...
Empire?? Worst speed trap in the Rockies lol! Thats awesome, so many good memories from out there, I literally dream about riding the C-Lift on a regular basis , If I wasn't so addicted to the ocean Id be there 100%!
They sure are but not as bad as a dead tree, my strategy with cleanup is to had pick and chip as much as possible leaving only the micro shit for the old double wide pitch fork. I used to hate cleanups but now don't mind, its the easiest/ safest part of the job when it comes down to it.
I replaced my XT-55 about a year ago with the SD64 and man is it a major upgrade all around. I cant compare to a 70 or 80 track because Ive never used one but I have nothing but good things to say about the nifty so far. The most impressive (compared to bucket) is being able to sneak under and...
I switched my stihl 201tc and husky 385xp to sugihara, not sure why but they seem to cut better and have a little smoother feel when cutting. I'm a believer, and they do look cool which is always a bonus.
Ive had the SD64 for a half year now, its been a great machine so far. I haven't pushed it too hard as far as driving on slopes and rough terrain but have been very impressed with the lack of damage to turf. And am also happy with the reach and control layout. Feel free to ask any questions...
Logrite.com has Jr arch for $690, shipping could be close to that alone but worth every penny. The cart styles are better for larger diameter/ shorter length pieces, the Jr is great for those longer 6" to 17" pieces .
Log Rite is good product although I got mine 20 years ago when it was Blue OX. I have the JR arch for jobs where I can't get the mini skid in for logs, I used it yesterday. 1 guy can "easily" move a 10' 16" diameter log if the grade isnt too steep. It beats cutting it shorter / making more trips!
