Views. Here is one of mine. Lets see yours.....so many great views out there.

Here's the view from this afternoon, out in Louisville, CO. The other photos I put up were in Boulder, where I live and mostly work, which is right up next to the foothills. When you get a little further out like this job you can see the highest peaks and a lot more of the Rocky Mountains in general, it's nice to get around the county a bit. (y)View attachment 86374

One thing I really love about CO is the arid air. I know that comes with some drawbacks, but I can feel so comfortable out there in a much wider temperature range than possible here in the Northeast. If I couldn’t live near the coast, I’d have to live near the mountains!

I must have vertical ground within sight. Just not a beach person.

Thats awesome, I lived in Winter Park for 5 years, and climbed Longs Peek amongst many others in RMNP, I sure miss that view!

The winter park area is outdoor paradise. Mary Jane was my favorite back when I skied still. The little valley I grew up in was directly on the other side of the rockies from wp.
Empire?? Worst speed trap in the Rockies lol! Thats awesome, so many good memories from out there, I literally dream about riding the C-Lift on a regular basis , If I wasn't so addicted to the ocean Id be there 100%!

After living as a coastie for the majority of my life, I have learned it makes giving directions so much simpler when the map runs out. "Hey go down this road here, turn towards the water..." Or the house is on the inland side of the road.
I can do the same thing with the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. "Go down 192 to the the road that turns up the third gap..."
