Ditto here in NJ. A list and Home Adv do not vet at all. No big deal, they can do what they choose - I choose to stay away. As mentioned above, attracts too many tire kickers and price shoppers.
Sure, happens to us all. You will learn from it. I still mess a few up, but not too many bad ones. Good call slowing down and taking a break. Things cansnowball and then really F up badly.
I've found nothing for 75° plus summer heat. Just change in the chipper truck as needed. I'm going to try those clogger zero's Crimson King, so thanks.
Yup,. CMC has nice features when they run.
UpE seems to have good customer service and machine is lightest of the class. Didn't look at these close enough to say more.
Plantform Basket seems most reliable, but heavy for it's class. Although I said previously built like a tank, out rigger...
I demoed both, CMC had nice self leveling one button feature, but I seem to read too many problems occurred with outrigger sensors. Tracked is more manual control to set outriggers, just like a normal truck hyd lever. More manual work to level, but seems more reliable. If you are used to...
Hydraulic oil leak? From upper not working?
Wonder how long CMC knew about this.
Sorry for your problems, but thanks for your post. I demoed a 72 and been thinking about it.
Hope all works out for you.
AlturnaMats are outstanding for heavy equipment. I'm not looking for something"cheaper" just more medium duty for my 6,900# lift. Less dense and lighter weight would help setup for sure. Line up a few more and less leapfrogging. One long line of 4'ers.
Thanks all for responding. I do see a better design on Northern. Thought some different patterns and such were out there.
Been out of the "mat loop" for awhile, my Altuna's are 15 years strong without a scratch. (Trying my best to stay away from Ply - one year only).
I've been using AlturnaMats for years for Lift/Knuckle/chip trucks. Swear by them. Just wondering if something better for a tracked lift. Smoother ride would seem better than the diamond traction design.
Or just plain plywood?
Thanks,
