We gave our guys and gals $500 to $1000 each. Got one thank you. Piss me off.....

When they don't say thanks, it seems more like they think they are entitled to it, deserve it or expect it. What a bunch of ingrates. That would piss me off too.
That was awesome BB! Alright, where were you? Crane Op, bucket truck, or videographer? All around, VERY professional! I was most impressed with the control considering those winds!

We are kinda starting to derail this thread, but I'd love to see one written about the issues facing guys doing this full time vs. part-timers. I fall into the later.
Do you have wood burning restrictions up there? We have them here. As long as your stove has a catalytic converter you can burn even when the restriction is in effect. But it seems to almost double the price of the stove. Just curious who else has wood burning restrictions. BTW, I'm sitting next...
Ashvilles a pretty good sized town, doesn't the city or county already have something like that set up w/ their Parks and Rec Dept? or Forestry Div? Not trying to dis the idea, just out here it seems like every township already has their own drop-off sites set up.
I thought this stuff only happened to me. If 'misery loves company' then it looks like you've got a lot of friends in this thread Jamin. I did the exact same thing, but got most of my stuff back. But honestly I'd rather be out 1400 bucks than have somebody get hurt.

What do you mean by Bubbling and bulging?
Didn't anybody beside me get sucked into the profession because the guy running the saw was too fat to climb, didn't own a throwball, but needed the rope set?
i sliced a 2-3" gash in my this summer with my handsaw on some deadwood. You know that little section of exposed skin between your pant leg and the boot top. The fireman who lived next door glued it together w/ Superglue. Worked + healed fine. Never heard of Superglue for gashes like that.
i've heard the same things, only "the study came out of the U of Oregon" but could never find a thing about it. "anecdotal hearsay" sounds about right to me. why can't ISA's TREEFUND put together some kind of study and update us on the probability of tools vectoring pathogens.
