My new Cougar saddle - hmmmmm....

Re: One other thing that bothers me about the bridge

So, Rich
If you are making the new bridge, How do we pick one up? Could you post some pictures so we can check it out. Weaver is still showing the old configuration on there website and say nothing about a new bridge. Thanks for all the info.

Re: One other thing that bothers me about the brid

So I just got my cougar today from wesspur and its my first saddle with a rope bridge. I have a nice new hitchclimber setup as well and was wondering can I clip my biner right onto the rope bridge? or do I have to get another pulley to put on the bridge? Also whats the general consensus with adjusting the leg straps? Thanks guys!

Re: One other thing that bothers me about the brid

A few months back my original bridge had gotten nicked with a handsaw a few times and made me a little uneasy, I replaced my rope bridge with the one for the Glide.. Mostly because it was the only replacement rope bridge available at the time at the local Sherril dealer, but i also like it because it was a bit longer than the original cougar bridge. I thought since they were essentially the same design, there shouldn't be any issue with it. Am I wrong, any of you see some blatant problem?

Also, has anyone thought of switching in the butterfly rope bridge? I was wondering if using a flat rope for the bridge would eliminate the problems with bubbling and bulging
