Wood Stove Suggestions

thanks - i know what you are saying is true - but i think this will work good - appreciate the helpful concern!

i will post results soon ;)

Do you have wood burning restrictions up there? We have them here. As long as your stove has a catalytic converter you can burn even when the restriction is in effect. But it seems to almost double the price of the stove. Just curious who else has wood burning restrictions. BTW, I'm sitting next to mine right now in t shirt and shorts. 77 degrees inside, the window is open, 22 outside. Lovin' it.

:)

no regs on when.

Fisher Stoves : Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear versions. I don't think they're made anymore, and certainly they aren't catalytic stoves. They are very simple and elegant if you can find them. We have a Papa bear in the shop that heats a 2500sq ft space.

I'm going to yank my wood stove out next week.

Going to a gas stove, got one for free.
