Coast Redwood 2014 pics ... plus Bigfoot

Its so hard to gauge scale for these trees , you just need to experience it. Im planning on coming back to the states I really loved the west coast and also enjoyed portland ..... seriously considering spending some more time there.

Coast Redwood 2014 pics ... plus Bigfoot

wow its great looking through these photos , I've just returned from a road trip up the west coast with a couple of friends and we visited most of these sites and spent a lot of our time bushwhacking and searching out some of the largest Sequoias using odd bits of information we gathered...

    FIRE

Epic @Stihlmadd , just about to leave the states now myself, nice to see that vid bro. I wouldn't worry about using it for everything just yet , try settting a line and using it for ascent and a little bit of work on the way up and switch over to dbrt when you are at the top. the more you...

    The best throwline?

Ok if we are being honest here, my throwing technique does include a rather feminine fairy jump at the end haha

    The best throwline?

Im an 8 ounce guy , the line I use is from French touch concept , it's really slick so I don't have problems with it coming down , even on a big fat gnarly oak limb it will make its way to the ground . I can't imagine doing a 25+ meter throw with more then a 12 ounce , that must rip your hands...

    The best throwline?

How heavy are the bags you guys are using on dynaglide ? I used it a couple of times and it felt nice but damn there was a lot of friction going on.

    Show us your harness

I use a dynamic line for my lanyard and always have to be super careful of running ropes , the other day I was working with a friend who is a very good climber and thought he didn't notice the rigging line run across his lanyard .....but.... he knew it was going to happen and as it was heat...

    Stihl 661 Problem

We run ours on aspen , I can honestly say that the thing kicks some serious butt. There has been zero issues the whole time I've had it, even after a year of pretty heavy use , the m tronic works well , imo its gruntier then the 66o we have . I think return it dude.

    Show us your harness

I love the positioner , most people don't utilise it to its full potential. If you use it a certain way it can seem very jumpy all you need to do is add a little more friction with your hand and it behaves smooth as butter even on a single leg mode. @macswan Have you tried using the 8 for...

    DMM throw hook.

sounds like a great job for it , the hook looks really good by the way @MikePowers321 , if you add a little bit of string or bungee across the opening , it will stop it getting snagged when climbing around. The more you use it , the more applications you find. I admire your fabrications man...

    Climbernz videos

Hey guys heres a little vid I threw together today , rushed as always , nothing to action packed but a bit of a change to crashing and bashing . It was a nice 35 degree day in germany so left the saw pants in the truck and took the silky out to play. Theres a little bit of everything , srwp ...
