The best throwline?

I used 10 and 12, but just started using 16 because of thick foliage, and think I like it best with dynaglide. Sometimes 10 would lose gas on the high shots because of the line weight.

Im an 8 ounce guy , the line I use is from French touch concept , it's really slick so I don't have problems with it coming down , even on a big fat gnarly oak limb it will make its way to the ground . I can't imagine doing a 25+ meter throw with more then a 12 ounce , that must rip your hands to shreds . It's crazy , throw lines are such a personal thing , interesting thread guys ✌

I can get a 14oz up pretty high with no complaints, if throwing one handed, I just increase the length between your hand and the ball to get some extra umph for taller throws.

Generally speaking, anything over about 65 ft. or so, I'll usually switch to a basket throw. I feel like I am even more accurate with the basket throw anyways, somehow....

Basket throwing is a trick I've not figured out. I single hand everything, but I've never thrown above 90'. The 70-80 range is tough, with a jump that looks more like a prance. I should work on my technique and pull off a pirouette and land the shot.

I used to baseball throw up to 50' until I realized that's a really good way to mess up my shoulder. Then I switched to granny shots, but couldn't get accurate. Now I one hand most throws, except for the really high ones which I still granny toss and hope I hit something useable.

Just for the heck of it I tried the basket throw the other day. More altitude and WAY better accuracy. Leaves me wondering why I haven't tried it sooner.

I idiot-proofed my throw cubes b using a sharpie marker to mark the first two corners I have to mate up with my first fold. After that, the 2nd fold is pretty obvious.
Stein's new cube has the corners already marked for you. Apparently Stein thinks we are all idiots and can't fold up a throw line cube. I haven't messed up since I got it. Seems like a pretty tough hombre too.

Agreed on the green dynaglide and 12 to 14 oz. Weights.it's my go to line providing it cooperates and doesn't get lets just say stuck, tangled, snagged, or just plane mangled. Of course all my doing.

I want to know if I'm the only one who fires off that bag, realize it's on the perfect course for nailing it on the first throw... just to find out you're standing on the damn throwline and it jerks to a stop six freakin' inches from the crotch.

Because, well, I've used some language when that happens that would make an old, drunk sailor run away with his hands over his ears.

Welcome to the club :)

Ok if we are being honest here, my throwing technique does include a rather feminine fairy jump at the end haha
