What type of rain gear do you guys use? We work in the rain but don't like the constricting feeling of some of the rain gear that we use while climbing.
Actually its my 6th wrench. i was hooked from the beginning! I use the Rope runner for removals and wrench for prunes as i get into some pretty horizontal positions at times. I feel more confident with the wrench in these positions. I have used all kinds of lines and hitch cords...
I was at the Bronx Zoo yesterday and was watching a quick clip of a researcher spiking up a tree in the jungle. I was a little surprised they weren't climbing more modern techniques like SRT, Unless this was old footage. I only caught a little bit of it as we were on our way out.
I learned the old school way with the taught line hitch , moved to split tails and then jumped to SRT in 2009 when my wife and i climbed the old growth dug firs in Oregon. I still use some of my old techniques when they are best suited!
