CT annual rec climb January 16th

Thinking of coming up for the climb tomorrow can I meet up at panera and have my wife drop me off at the climb site as I am coming up from jersey and leaving the truck for my wife to visit friends in Danbury then she can pick me up at whatever time?
Is the climb on private land or legal to climb so we don't run into trouble?
Thanks Mike

Thanks Mike

We freelanced, attempted a landmark sycamore, ended up having awesome interactions with some locals but failed to cheer up a grumpy guy in charge, then went swinging over a river from more sycamores, private property, landowner showed up to ask what was going on and granted permission on the spot because that's how the annual winter rec climb goes!

Glad you guys had a good day.I was going to come up but my 11 month old had a fever at 5 am so their went the day.
Catch ya on the next one

Great climbing and catching up to day guys! Looking forward to reeling in the big one! Fun times swinging over and walking on water! Next time we hope moss will bring his treeboard to catch some Rapids

Thanks for the great coverage Moss! you did a phenomenal edit! great climb!

Thx Ian. Longest video segment I've done to date, normally I try to keep them at 4-5 minutes max but there was so much stuff I liked I didn't want to edit it any tighter than that. I really enjoy the part where you're trying to haul Roberto in to get your phone and we all realized at the same moment that it just wasn't going to work too well for Roberto, ie: he was going to get very wet on the swing back after delivering the phone. Looking at it in hindsight I can imagine a few ways we could've accomplished it but... going over to swing mode instead was the best decision ;-)

Great edit on the vid i know how long it takes to make a good one and not make it to long or to short. I think it was perfect in length. There was a lot of good stuff that went on that day and you got every detail! After getting so hungry my brain zoned out and i had to laugh about what we were trying to accomplish lol. Good times!!

I'm really wishing this was in the cards for me this year, but alas...there's always NEXT year! Thanks guys for posting up all the great footage. I'll be ready next time! @KYAPLE, I'm dragging you down whether you're kicking and screaming or not...or you can drag me down. Whichever.:)
