I usually get people (unprompted) explaining why they want the tree out, I listen for a bit, but if it gets boring or they’re labouring under the delusion I care, I tell them, you don’t need to justify it to me, you want it out, I’ll do it.

Around 60 years after man made his first powered flight, he flew to the moon, got out, drove a car (which is still there and and can be seen apparently) jumped about, played golf, got back in and flew back.
An incredible quantum leap in technology.

A lot of what gets climbed is dodgy, which is why it’s being climbed.

I had it on my Multione a few years back, I was on full reach up high with a fixed grab angled up to pull a branch out of some bamboo.
A fixed grab (150 odd kilos off solid metal) detached itself and rolled down the arm towards me in the cab, only the hydraulic hoses stopped it from squishing...
I use a Prussik every day, it ain’t how quick you get there, it’s the decisions you make when you’re there that determine if a job goes quickly or not.
Everyone has their thing, like Neil I have no yen for mechanicals, I’m happy with a prussik.
Finding the perfect trim saw is my never ending quest.
