    Little tricks

Use a dmm XSRE biner on the end of the rig line, the nose will feed right through and between the strands for a very clean rope stowing situ. Only works if you arent using a steel biner for rigging termination. As far as using a steel biner for throwing/advancing, none of you guyd ever caught...

    Re-soling boots??

" If a boot lasts me a year I am satisfied. If a boot doesnt last a year I change brands." I get about 8-9 months out of a pair of boots, not satisfied but that's the best ive gotten out of tree work. Resole them and keep them alive Not cheap, also not stupid, and not made of money

    Re-soling boots??

There are a few decent cobbler options in portland, ive had salewas resoled for 90 bucks, one week turnover. Vibram soles. Well worth the dough on $240 boots. So comfortable to put on a new pair of boots that are already broken in

    Root Collar Excavation

Again we can look to bonsai here for a corroboration of these methods! When collecting "wild" trees, transplanting and repotting i follow the same rules via bonsai and have had really good success.
