    Shackle

Norm showed me his set up many years ago. It has been a perfect fit on every crane job since. Why renvent the wheel (plus it has been approved). If the weight of the shackle is a problem all I can say is Man Up!

    Who runs legit?

BB is correct. It does not matter if you are an arborist, painter, gutter cleaner, roofer etc. If a HO hires a company with out WC insurance and that worker gets injured or killed the HO will be resonsible. WE have traditionally worked around 50 hours a week all year. This is what the field crews prefer. If we get slow we will then will do 4-10's. Half the crews will be off on friday the other half on monday. We still need to operate as a company and having the set day off gives the employee an...

    Illinois Arborist Association TCC 2010

The forcast was the same for Saturday and Sunday. Yes bad luck, that puts alot more stress and responsibility on the volenteers who help try to put this thing together. Rain has been a problem 3 of the last five years. Our chapter did have a good run of 18 years with no rain that I can remember.

    Hung up Red Oak

After 22 years of climbing and rigging I still have the same feeling every now and then. You will never know it all in this line of work. That may be why I am still doing it.

    Custom Friction Saver Ideas

I agree. If you want a rope guide buy one. I have used many versions of the rope guide to reduce cost only to discover I have wasted my money.
