I did mean Thursday 09September and Friday 10September.

Pruning is scheduled for Thursday 09Sept, with a weather day of Friday 10Sept. Both 8AM starts.

The site trees were pruned yesterday (09Sept). There are plenty of tall (80-85') white oaks. The SFL tree will easily accomodate the 15 meter's required for the men. The Master's tree is 'killer', nice and spread out.

A BIG "THANK YOU" to those of you who volunteered your time to prune these trees.

To date, no women competitors have registered. Any takers?

As of yesterday, only 20 men. We need 10 more climbers.

The competition has been postponed to a later date due to lightning and rain. I am not sure what date but I think it's the 9th of October.

No comp again you guys got some bad luck with the weather.Why not do it today is the weather still bad?

The forcast was the same for Saturday and Sunday. Yes bad luck, that puts alot more stress and responsibility on the volenteers who help try to put this thing together. Rain has been a problem 3 of the last five years. Our chapter did have a good run of 18 years with no rain that I can remember.
