How do you train to pass the drug test? I was gonna say experienced good climbers dont have a problem passing a drug test..but however I can think of 2 who can't and you'll probably wont ever find a guy as good as either of them to work for you. Me personally have never even tried any of the...
I lost mine a few times. I throw them out of the tree when I get pissed off because I am soaked either because it is hot as hell or its raining and dont have a dry spot on my shirt to dry them off. I hate wearing glasses to no end. It affects my depth perception depending on how I am looking out...
Spikes don't always save time. I find it more difficult to run around a tree and limb walk with those braces on my feet. I feel like forrest gump. You can't just stand on branch with the rounded steel under your feet its a bit slippery. I could say more but why bother, no one here uses them...
That was an oak tree. I believe it was a red it was sometime ago. I dont remember too many of the trees I climbed. It was a good gig. Some trees we would climb and not even take our hand saw out of our scabboard.
Another thing I like to do is with limbs coming straight out that you dont want the but to jump out when cut it is to come in underneath level to ground creating a shelf for it to sit on then come down from the top. Pay attention to how the wood is reacting and adjust how your cutting. Always be...
Looks like your boy is coming along, seems like he is new to this.
In the video he is passing his rope up over a limb by clipping the ends together and then pulling his tail wich is pulling his biners and prussic up and over. He says when it works it works and when it doesn't your stuck. Also...
I was waving my magic wand. We work at some really nice homes where the people are picky and don't want an ounce of deadwood. Sometimes thats all there is up in the tree is deadwood the size of soda straws or smaller. So when told to dead wood a tree you have to find something. They do look...
I guess I could, I usually just pop it off to wipe the sweat off it and myself and let it air out a minute and pop it back on. I been pretty good with keeping it on as with everyone on the crew.
The price is 300 to 500 a day and I'll take pride in what ever you want. Pride? I'm not proud of what I do or can do. I cut trees down and do it well.
Here's a quote I heard recently "buisness man first arborist second".
Good show! Be ready though the fellas are gonna be asking who was watching trafic, who was protecting the pedestrians, where were the work area signs.
Good shot "Bulls Eye"!
